BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER — LANDSCAPING, SWIMMING POOL & GARDEN MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

With 1,500+ completed projects and a 4.8 Google rating, we're backed by our own 250,000 sq ft production nursery — giving us full control over quality from plant to project handover.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across our full service line — landscape design & build, swimming pool construction, hardscape (pergolas, gazebos, pathways, barbecue areas), and ongoing garden/landscape maintenance contracts. You'll own the client relationship from first meeting to signed deal: visiting project sites, meeting client-side project managers and engineers, understanding requirements, briefing our in-house design and estimation team, and going back to present and close.
NATURE OF WORK
This is a client-facing, target-driven sales role covering both project-based work (landscape builds and swimming pool construction) and recurring service contracts (garden and landscape maintenance), sold to villa owners, developers, facilities/community management, and corporate accounts across the UAE. You will not prepare quotations or designs yourself — our in-house quotation/estimation team handles that — your job is to bring in the opportunity, brief the team accurately, and close the deal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and pursue new business for landscaping, swimming pool construction, and garden maintenance projects across the UAE
• Visit project sites and meet client-side project managers, consultants, and engineers to source new opportunities
• Take ownership of higher-value/corporate client relationships; qualify and follow up on leads passed on from the marketing team and Sales Executive
• Meet clients to understand project requirements, scope, and budget, and brief the in-house design/estimation team accordingly
• Present quotations, designs, and proposals prepared by the estimation team back to the client
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new project business and repeat/maintenance contracts
• Coordinate with the Sales Executive on appointment scheduling and join client visits where a senior presence is needed
• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and deal status
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to generate repeat and referral business
• Achieve the monthly/quarterly new business targets set by management
TARGETS YOU'LL BE EXPECTED TO HIT
• Monthly/quarterly new signed business value [target to be set by management]
• Lead-to-close conversion rate on qualified opportunities passed to you
• Minimum number of client meetings/site visits per week
• Client retention and maintenance-contract renewal rate

REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in landscaping, swimming pool construction, contracting, real estate, or a related built-environment industry
• UAE market experience strongly preferred — an existing network with developers, consultants, contractors, or facilities/community management is a strong plus
• Comfortable meeting client-side project managers, consultants, and engineers, and understanding project requirements at a working level
• Confident presenting quotations, designs, and proposals, and negotiating commercial terms
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Valid UAE driving license (frequent site and client visits across Dubai and neighboring emirates)
COMPENSATION
Fixed monthly salary + Commission on business closed (performance-linked; exact structure discussed at interview)
