Job Details
We are seeking a poised and genuinely attentive Guest Relations Officer to look after our guests throughout their stay and to ensure that every experience of the property exceeds expectation. Reporting to the Front Office Manager or Guest Relations Manager, the successful candidate will personalise the guest journey, manage VIP arrivals, and act as the property's advocate whenever something goes wrong.
The central purpose of the role is personalised guest care. The Guest Relations Officer reviews arrival lists daily, identifies VIPs, repeat guests, loyalty members, and guests celebrating special occasions, and prepares the property accordingly — room upgrades where available, amenities placed in advance, preferences recorded from previous stays applied without the guest having to ask. Arrivals of significance are met personally, escorted to the room where appropriate, and followed up during the stay rather than left after check-in.
