Desktop Support Officer
Experienced Desktop Support Officer with 13+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, system troubleshooting, network administration, and end-user support. Skilled in installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and network devices. Strong ability to resolve technical issues quickly and ensure smooth IT operations in corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software applications.
Support users with email, internet, VPN, and Microsoft Office issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
Configure and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi devices, switches, and routers.
Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory.
Install and maintain antivirus and security software.
Provide remote and onsite IT support to staff and management.
Maintain IT inventory and prepare technical documentation.
Support CCTV systems, IP cameras, biometric attendance devices, and backup solutions.
