Dear Hiring Manager,
I am applying for the Quantity Surveyor position advertised on Dubizzle. I am a civil engineer (BE, 2016) with 9 years of construction experience: 7 years as a Site Engineer and 2 years as a Quantity Surveyor.
My site background helps me prepare accurate quantities and valuations because I understand how the work is actually executed. My Qs experience includes:
Taking off quantities and preparing BOQs
Preparing interim payment applications and certifying subcontractor bills
Valuing variations and preparing rate analysis
Maintaining records for claims and final accounts
Knowing FIDIC contract conditions
I am detail-oriented, organised and comfortable coordinating with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors. I would welcome the chance to contribute to your projects.
I have attached my CV and am available for an interview at your convenience. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely
