1994 Land Rover Range Rover - GCC Specs - Classic SUV
OVERVIEW
This 1994 Range Rover Classic is a GCC specification example built to a standard that is rarely
achieved. Finished in black with a grey leather interior, it is rust free, retains the original soft dash, and
has been converted from a four door body to a true two door using original Range Rover components.
The result is a one off build worldwide that still feels correct, not improvised.
Under the bonnet is a BMW M60 4.6 litre V8 installed with a clean OEM approach. The body shows
approximately 180,000 km. The engine has covered approximately 89,000 km and has since been
completely rebuilt with new internal components, with the pistons retained as they were within speci-
fication and did not require replacement. It runs on stock BMW wiring and ECU and can be diagnosed
on OBD1, which makes the car far more serviceable than most conversions. The engine is supported
by M5 headers and a Brabus rear exhaust, giving it the sound and response to match the build quality.
The drivetrain has been strengthened with an R380 gearbox upgraded with heavy duty internals from
Ashcroft in the UK. This is the kind of upgrade chosen by owners who intend to drive their cars properly, not just display them.
Visually, the car sits on chromed Range Rover Ranger wheels and features an aluminium tailgate conversion, adding a sharper, cleaner finish while keeping the classic silhouette intact.
Inside, the original soft dash character remains, and the instrument cluster and controls have been
adapted to suit the conversion with the dials and functions working as intended. The car also features
a Nardi steering wheel.

MAINTENANCE:
The car has been looked after for years at Prestige Cars Services in Abu Dhabi, widely regarded
as one of the UAE’s leading independent exotic car workshops, with a consistent history
of routine servicing and ongoing upkeep. In more recent ownership it has been maintained
by AAA Garage in Dubai, known for their focus on classic cars and sympathetic mechanical work.
The Range Rover is currently in the workshop for a fresh round of preventative sorting, including
addressing minor oil and fluid leaks, clutch attention, window regulator repairs, and transmission
leak rectification, with approximately AED 25,000 being invested.
