Cadillac’s Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV that unexpectedly became the icon for the hip-hop culture in the early 2000s or better known as “King of bling”. The 2020 Cadillac Escalade still symbolizes high-class transportation to consumers; Escalade lineup receives minor updates that include a hands-free liftgate. The most expensive and most lavishly appointed Escalade is the Platinum trim level.The Platinum adds power-retracting side steps, upgraded power front seats with massaging function, upgraded leather upholstery, a cooled front-seat center console and two more rear entertainment screens (mounted in the front headrests).

The 6.2-liter V8 engine is responsive, torquey and sounds good as the revs rise. Thanks to its 420 hp, 460 lb-ft of torque and quick-shifting 10-speed transmission, 0-60 mph comes in at 6.6 seconds, remarkable for such a large vehicle. The throttle is one of the Escalade's high points.
