he BYD Han DM-i is a mid-to-large sized plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sedan from Chinese automaker BYD. It combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and a battery you can charge, letting you use pure electric driving for daily commutes with a long overall range thanks to the hybrid system.

Powertrain: Features the 5th-gen DM-i hybrid technology with a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a 200kW motor.
Acceleration: Reaches 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds (some performance variants as low as 3.7 seconds).
Electric Range: Offers pure electric driving for 125km to 245km depending on the battery size (up to 37.5 kWh).
Combined Range: Provides a total travel range of up to 1,350km to 1,560km.
Charging: Supports 40kW fast charging, allowing a 0–80% top-up in approximately 15–25 minutes.
Design & Interior
Exterior: Characterized by a "Dragon Face" design, though 2025 models move toward a more streamlined, grille-less front similar to the BYD Han EV.
Luxury Tech: The cabin features a rotating 15.6-inch multimedia touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and a 360° view system.
Comfort: High-end trims include Nappa leather seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
V2L Technology: Includes Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing the car to act as a mobile power source for external devices.
