The idea behind this build was simple: keep the timeless, original E21 appearance while completely transforming what sits underneath.

From the outside, it looks like a beautifully restored classic BMW E21. Underneath, it is an entirely different animal.

A huge amount of work has gone into making the N54 drivetrain work properly within the E21 chassis, including the drivetrain installation, transmission, differential, subframes, exhaust, cooling, A/C and numerous custom details.

The result is exactly what an old-school BMW restomod should be:

Classic looks. Modern twin-turbo power. Manual gearbox. Rear-wheel drive.

The car deliberately hasn’t been turned into an over-styled modified E21. It retains the understated, period-correct appearance of the original car — which makes the performance underneath even more surprising.

It looks completely stock to most people.

The combination of the lightweight E21 chassis and N54 twin-turbo power makes this an exceptionally exciting car and something completely different from the usual classic BMW.

A serious amount of time, fabrication and money has been invested into this project. Recreating a build like this from scratch would be a major undertaking.
