Audi S8 2008 5.2 FSI V10 GCC Specs

Selling my beautiful 2008 Audi S8 with the legendary 5.2L V10 engine.

Before you continue reading, please accept that the car is 18 years old. It has been maintained with an open chequebook and is driven daily, so it is mechanically sorted and reliable—still, it is an 18-year-old car.

This is a hard sale for me because mankind will never make something like this again, and it is very hard to find a truly alive example nowadays, but it is what it is.

Around 6 months ago, all the big potential sources of issues on this platform were sorted using proper German aftermarket parts (no cheap Chinese parts).

Engine & Intake:
Replaced the intake manifold (bought good used one and overhauled with new parts), installed new swirl flaps + full manifold cleaning, replaced all 10 fuel injectors, overhauled the vacuum system, repaired the engine wiring harness/connectors, and replaced the EVAP purge valve and alternator belt pulleys.

Cooling System:
Replaced all 3 cooling radiators, both heat exchangers (engine oil cooler and transmission cooler), the thermostat, and A/C Compressor (NEW Denso).

Suspension & Steering (100% New Front End):
Everything up front is new—front air struts, all control arms, wheel bearings (hub bearings), subframe mounts, engine mounts, transmission mounts, inner/outer tie rods with boots, and front/rear sway bar links.

Drivetrain:
Fully serviced. Fluids changed in the automatic transmission, all differentials, and the Torsen center differential/transfer case.
The driveshaft (propshaft) was removed, fitted with a new center support bearing, and professionally balanced/calibrated—it is like new. Rear axle CV boots and rear tires were also replaced.

Interior & Exterior:
Interior In great shape. Every single electric motor, button, and adjustment works exactly as it should.

Exterior: I focused my budget and time on the mechanical side and didn’t touch the exterior much, so it requires some minor cosmetic attention.
