Last of the old mechanical and electrical bikes before the 1200 and computer controlled bus systems. Easy bike to fix and repair in the wild means for adventure, this is the only choice.
All new in last 6 months:
Lights, hand guards, wind deflectors, oil ptotector, shock protector, USB charger, cigarette charger, ram mount, windshield, upper crash bars, lower crash bars, pivot pegs, givi luggage rack / protection. Brake + clutch protection. Bigfoot stand plate.
New brakes and stainless steel brake lines, new fuel pump, filter, hoses and lines. New oil filter, alternator belt and engine tuned. New shinko 805/804 off-road nobblies tyres. Engine oil/ gearbox / final drive / clutch / brake fluid changed. Covers replaced with magnetic stainless.
This bike had 35000 on on the clock when I got it and was running perfect. I made these changes and upgrades only because I was taking this bike far off-road and wanted a 100% reliable bike. It never let me down but importantly, I never doubted it. The people I rode with "always" had issues tho. This bike runs like new.
So if u want a safe bike that will ALWAYS get you home. This is it. If you want a cheaper bike and call someone to help you when it breaks, please keep looking.
I bought this bike for 15000 last year and put 16k of upgrades into it.
Two things that I did not do on this bike as I didn't want or need to is 1) abs which is dangerous off-road and 2) there is some paint damage on the tank where fuel spilled (it is an adventure bike afterall).
Leaving country forces very reluctant sale
