About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Distributor Manager to lead our sales operations and support the growth of our distribution business. This role is responsible for managing the sales team, developing customer relationships, expanding the customer base, and building strong partnerships with suppliers. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record in FMCG or distribution businesses and a passion for driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue, profitability, and distribution targets.
- Set sales objectives, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent execution of sales plans.
- Conduct regular field visits with the sales team to improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new customers across retail, wholesale, food service, and other relevant channels.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Expand market coverage by identifying new business opportunities and distribution channels.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure profitable growth.

Supplier Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers that complement the company's product portfolio.
- Coordinate with suppliers on product launches, pricing, promotions, forecasting, and inventory planning.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure service levels are maintained.

Operational & Commercial Management:
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business development plans.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure product availability, efficient stock management, and timely collections.
- Prepare regular business reviews and management reports.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG, food distribution, consumer goods, or a similar distribution business.
- Proven experience managing sales teams and delivering sustainable sales growth.
- Strong business development experience with a demonstrated ability to acquire and grow customer accounts.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid UAE driving license
