Job Details
We are seeking an organised and commercially minded Retail Merchandiser to ensure that products are available, correctly displayed, and attractively presented across assigned retail outlets. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager or Area Sales Manager, the successful candidate will visit stores on a planned route, executing the brand's or retailer's display standards so that products sell well on the shelf rather than sitting unnoticed in the backstore.
The core of the role is in-store display and shelf execution. The Retail Merchandiser arranges products on shelves, gondolas, chillers, and promotional displays according to planograms and brand guidelines, ensures the correct number of facings and product placement, and builds secondary displays, end-of-aisle stacks, and seasonal features. Stock is faced, rotated on a FIFO basis, and kept neat and fully stocked during the visit. Where a planogram cannot be followed because of space or range differences, the merchandiser adapts sensibly and records the reason.
