Job Details
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Strategic Procurement & Supplier Partnership Manager to help us build long-term supplier agreements for a large-scale real estate development pipeline.
Over the next two years, we have a forecast of approximately 10,000 apartments to be delivered. This gives us a strong purchasing position in the market and creates an opportunity to secure direct agreements with manufacturers, distributors and key suppliers across multiple construction and fit-out categories.
Our goal is not only to purchase materials for our own projects, but also to use this purchasing power to create better pricing structures for subcontractors, contractors and construction partners. By securing competitive prices directly from manufacturers, we want to become a valuable procurement partner within the construction and real estate supply chain.
The role
In this position, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, negotiating and securing strategic supplier agreements with manufacturers and major suppliers. You will work closely with our BOQ, quantity surveying, technical and project teams to understand the required materials, volumes, specifications and delivery planning.
You will help us convert our project forecast into strong commercial agreements that provide better pricing, reliable supply, consistent quality and long-term value.
Key responsibilities
- Identify suitable manufacturers, distributors and suppliers for construction and fit-out materials.
- Negotiate framework agreements, volume discounts and preferred supplier arrangements.
- Use our forecast of 10,000 apartments to secure highly competitive pricing.
- Build supplier partnerships that can benefit contractors, subcontractors and project partners.
- Work with BOQ and technical teams to understand quantities, specifications and material requirements.
- Compare supplier offers based on price, quality, lead time, payment terms, warranty and service levels.
- Support the creation of supplier contracts, pricing agreements and procurement structures.
- Develop alternative supplier options to reduce risk and improve negotiation power.
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing validity, delivery commitments and commercial terms.
- Help create a scalable procurement model for large-volume residential developments.
Ideal candidate profile
We are looking for someone with strong commercial skills and experience in construction procurement, supplier negotiations or real estate development supply chains.
The ideal candidate has experience with:
- Strategic procurement or supplier management.
- Construction materials, fit-out materials or real estate development.
- Negotiating with manufacturers, distributors or large suppliers.
- BOQ, quantity surveying or technical specifications.
- Framework agreements, volume pricing and long-term supplier contracts.
- Working with contractors, subcontractors or developers.
- UAE, GCC or international supplier markets is a strong advantage.
Important qualities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to create win-win supplier partnerships.
- Understanding of construction materials and project-based procurement.
- Ability to compare offers beyond price alone.
- Structured, analytical and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with forecasts, BOQs, specifications and supplier contracts.
- Able to build long-term relationships with manufacturers and key market players.
Why this opportunity is unique
This is not a standard procurement role. With a forecast of 10,000 apartments, we have significant purchasing power and the opportunity to build a procurement model that benefits not only our own developments, but also contractors and subcontractors who need better access to competitive pricing and reliable supply.
The right person will play a key role in building a supplier network that can support large-scale residential development and create a strong commercial position in the construction market.
Objective
The main objective is to secure the best possible supplier agreements directly from manufacturers and major suppliers, based on forecasted volume, quality requirements and long-term cooperation. These agreements should allow us to offer competitive pricing and reliable supply solutions to contractors, subcontractors and development partners.
