A well-established Dubai-based architectural hardware and building materials company is looking for an experienced Outdoor Sales Executive to develop and manage customers across Dubai and other UAE markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting building material shops, hardware traders, contractors and other potential customers, generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily outdoor sales visits to customers across assigned areas.
- Visit building material shops, hardware traders, contractors and related businesses.
- Develop new customers through cold visits, prospecting and referrals.
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
- Promote architectural hardware, door hardware, furniture fittings and related building-material products.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate prices within company-approved pricing.
- Follow up enquiries, orders and customer requirements.
- Follow up customer payments and collections.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Provide regular sales and market updates to the Sales Manager.
- Identify new market opportunities and competitor activity.
Compensation: Fixed salary + attractive sales commission/incentives based on performance and company commission structure.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years UAE outdoor/field sales experience preferred.
- Experience in building materials, hardware, architectural hardware, tools, sanitary ware, aluminium products or related products strongly preferred.
- Must be comfortable with daily shop-to-shop customer visits and cold calling/prospecting.
- Existing contacts with building material shops, hardware traders or contractors will be an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
- Own car is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer-development skills.
- Must be target-oriented and capable of working independently in the field.
- Knowledge of the UAE building-material/hardware market is preferred.
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
