About Arctica

Arctica is a Dubai-based logistics company providing refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport across the UAE. We serve food, FMCG, healthcare and other businesses requiring reliable cold-chain transportation.
We operate our own refrigerated fleet and provide customers with flexible transport capacity on a per-trip and contracted basis.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Representative whose main responsibility is simple:
Find new customers, win business and build a continuous sales pipeline.
This is a field sales position. You will be expected to actively search for potential customers, contact them, visit their facilities, identify their transport requirements and convert opportunities into actual business.

What You Will Do

Find potential customers requiring refrigerated transport.
Make daily calls, messages and customer visits.
Identify and reach the correct decision-makers.
Understand the customer's current transport requirements and problems.
Introduce Arctica's services and generate genuine interest.
Arrange meetings, prepare quotations and follow up actively.
Negotiate and close sales.
Maintain an active pipeline of new opportunities.
Follow up with existing customers to generate repeat business.
Provide regular updates on visits, opportunities, quotations and closed sales.
Meet agreed monthly sales and activity targets.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is active, persistent and comfortable being in the field.
Preference will be given to candidates who already have contacts or experience with:
Food and FMCG manufacturers/distributors
Cold stores and warehouses
Catering and food-service companies
Supermarket suppliers
Healthcare/pharmaceutical distribution
Logistics and transportation companies

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of B2B sales experience in the UAE preferred.
Logistics, transportation, FMCG or cold-chain experience is a strong advantage.
Good understanding of field sales and lead generation.
Able to find opportunities independently — not wait for leads to be provided.
Confident speaking to managers and decision-makers.
Good negotiation and closing skills.
Good spoken and written English.
Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.
Basic computer skills for quotations, email and sales tracking.
UAE driving licence preferred.

What We Expect

This is not a desk-based sales job and not simply a lead-generation position.
We expect the successful candidate to actively develop the market from prospecting → customer visits → qualified opportunities → quotations → follow-up → closed business → repeat business.
Performance will be measured primarily by qualified opportunities, new customers and actual sales generated.
