BuzzBusy is a new digital platform that connects customers with trusted service providers across a range of home and lifestyle services. The platform enables customers to request quotes, compare offers, negotiate, and book services directly with providers—giving both sides greater transparency, flexibility, and control.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service & Operations Assistant to support the onboarding of service providers and manage day-to-day platform operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and operating in a fast-paced startup environment. This a six-month contract assignment, with the possibility of renewal. The job can be carried our remotely – online.
Key Responsibilities
• Reach out to and onboard new service providers onto the BuzzBusy platform
• Guide service providers on how to use the platform effectively
• Respond to customer and service provider inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Follow up on job requests and ensure smooth communication between customers and providers
• Investigate and resolve complaints from customers and service providers
• Manage and update the web-based admin portal
• Support basic operational tasks including tracking bookings, invoices, and payments
Requirements
• Experience in customer service, operations, or handling multiple clients/vendors
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
• Comfortable using web-based platforms, tools, and basic software
• Good attention to detail and ability to handle numbers (invoices, payments, tracking)
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and organized approach
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a startup environment
• Candidates with own visa are preferred
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience in marketplaces, service platforms, or similar environments
• Based in Dubai with knowledge of the UAE market
