Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Middle East and Africa (MEA) sales operations. The role involves driving regional revenue, managing profitability, developing customer and distributor networks, leading the sales team and overseeing inventory performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales revenue of USD 12 million per month while maintaining healthy profit margins.
- Manage regional sales performance, pricing strategies and overall P&L.
- Lead, recruit and develop the sales team, setting targets and monitoring individual performance.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand distributor, wholesaler and key account networks across MEA.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and customer demand to drive sales strategies.
- Manage ageing inventory and coordinate with sourcing and purchasing teams to optimise stock movement.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports and present business updates to senior management.
- Coordinate with finance teams on customer credit limits, collections and outstanding receivables.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of sales experience, with significant experience in sales leadership and team management.
- Proven experience in regional sales management and P&L ownership.
- Strong knowledge of Middle East and African markets.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high sales targets and manage gross margins.
- Experience in distributor management, business development and key account management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and commercial decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
- Willingness to travel across MEA.
Preferred Experience
- Background in mobile devices, consumer electronics, pre-owned or refurbished devices.
- Knowledge of device grading, IMEI verification, RMA and auction-based sourcing.
- Established distributor and wholesaler network across MEA.
- Arabic or French language skills will be an advantage.
