Job Details
Generate sales over the phone by contacting prospective and existing customers, presenting products or services, and closing deals to meet assigned targets.
Key responsibilities
• Make outbound calls to leads from provided databases, campaigns, and referrals
• Present product/service benefits clearly and handle customer objections
• Qualify prospects, understand their needs, and recommend suitable offerings
• Close sales over the phone and process orders or applications accurately
• Follow up on quotations, pending leads, and existing customers for repeat business
• Maintain call logs, customer details, and pipeline status in the CRM system
• Meet daily call volume and monthly sales/revenue targets
• Coordinate with the field sales team for appointments or site visits where needed
• Handle inbound sales enquiries and convert them into orders
• Report on call outcomes, conversion rates, and market feedback
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business/marketing an advantage
• 1–2 years' telesales, inside sales, or call centre experience preferred
• Strong persuasive communication skills and a confident phone manner
• Resilience to handle rejection and work in a target-driven environment
• Basic computer literacy; familiarity with CRM software
• Good listening skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
