Job Summary:
The Waiter is responsible for providing exceptional dining service to guests in a high-end restaurant environment. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, knowledge of menu items, and the ability to deliver a premium dining experience while maintaining the restaurant’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, friendly service throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and service team.
• Serve food and beverages according to luxury restaurant service standards.
• Ensure proper table setup, including cutlery, glasses, napkins, and service items.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining tables and service areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Upsell menu items, beverages, and special promotions when appropriate.
• Handle guest bills, payments, and receipts accurately.
• Follow restaurant SOPs, hygiene standards, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including table preparation and restaurant setup.
• Support team members during busy service periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and grooming standards at all times.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Waiter in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or fine dining environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred.
• Good English communication skills; additional languages (Arabic, Persian, Russian, or others) are an advantage.
• Food safety knowledge is preferred.
