About Us
For 15 years, The Monk has been one of Dubai’s most iconic Indo-Chinese restaurants, known for bold flavors, warm hospitality, and a loyal customer base. With four thriving outlets across Dubai, including our newest branch in Arjan, we are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering the exceptional dining experience our guests expect.
Role Overview
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, coordinating staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations across floor and service teams.
Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain service standards.
Ensure excellent guest experiences through attentive service and problem-solving.
Coordinate with kitchen teams to maintain efficiency and order accuracy.
Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Monitor hygiene, safety, and compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations.
Manage shift schedules and staff allocations.
Support in inventory checks, ordering, and cost control.
Assist in implementing promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant / F&B industry (Indo-Chinese or Asian cuisine experience is an advantage).
Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
Excellent communication in English (knowledge of Hindi/Arabic is a plus).
Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
