We are seeking an experienced and polished Head Waiter / Captain to lead a section of the restaurant floor and elevate the guest experience through expert service. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the successful candidate will combine hands-on service excellence with leadership of a small team of waitstaff, acting as the senior service professional guests interact with directly.
The core of the role is elevated table service. The Head Waiter / Captain takes ownership of a dedicated section, personally overseeing service for VIPs, regulars, and special occasions, and demonstrates the highest standard of technique — from correct sequencing and silver service where applicable to expert wine and menu recommendations. Guests in the captain's section should experience a noticeably higher level of attentiveness and polish, since this role often sets the benchmark the rest of the floor is measured against.
