Department Description:
The Change Management and Communications unit is accountable and responsible for driving changes in Group IT by focusing on the cultural and human dynamics impacting the change through effective internal and external communications This unit motivates employees to generate the cultural and behavioral changes needed by using appropriate messages activations media and tools to bring about understanding and agreement through proactive and reactive approaches
Brief Description:
This role is responsible in providing support to theAVP Change Communications to enable the transformation of process people and culture and boost employee engagement to work asone team

The strong relationship building and communications skills in this role will in turn ensure that the organization is completely on board and engaged in the IT Transformation Therefore it is paramount to ensure continuous communication of changes to all levels and ensure innovative and appropriate methods are used in order to facilitate all these changes The job holder will be required to be involved in understanding defining and implementing the process changes as part of the Transformation

Detailed Description:
This role will partner with the Transformation team to implement the change approach as work stream plans evolve and must provide expertise on change management and communications to all stakeholders The focus is in the cultural element impacted by the change with regards to fostering understanding and conviction role modelling and removing barriers to change A key part of this role is to provide a holistic approach and plan for change management and to ensure that Group IT and relevant Business units adhere to the agreed plan In addition this role will be responsible in ensuring strategic alignment with change management teams in identifying change drivers and support in conducting coaching and training when needed

This role will be supporting in managing the Transformers conducting feedback sessions and change post implementation assessments to analyze the effectiveness In addition this role will work closely with the Souwti committee in improving the employee engagement by enhancing the work environment through team building initiatives and promoting empowerment across all domains

The role will provide for support in preparing and facilitating senior management communication both in written and oral form as well as prepare and organize meetings eventsEg town halls discussions speeches portals and all other digital channels etc Ensuring that there is a proactive approach whereby meetings and session are set up to identify potential needs for communication within the organization and bring them to senior management attention

Job Requirements:
Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support cultural adoption of the changes required
Create a roadmap for change management activities covering the full scope and duration of the change
Coach stakeholders in the delivery of the change management activities
Conduct impact analyses assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Provide input document requirements and support the design and delivery of coaching and training programs when needed as part of the transformation

Provide support in conducting the annual SWOT Gap Analysis across the unit which would then translate into the annual communications budget and plan
Create Internal Focus Groups and Intelligible debates
Create and implement Online Portals to enhance consistent communication of key events success stories competitions video streaming and improve collaboration between staff
Work with vendors to put in place visual aids
External parties to develop alliances with industry leaders to build inhouse competencies
Marketing Material and Press release to be prepared for projects as per project marketing requirements
Support in conducting Town halls Speakers Corner and Meet the CIO sessions to ensure that staff has direct and open form of communication with CIO and senior management
Actively engage with employees to boost high performance of employees from transformation
Work with external parties to manage events hosted by Group IT
Conduct Surveys to ensure that activities being conducted are of Value Add in the eyes of the employees
Support in planning and managing all events hosted by Group IT internally and externally

Additional Details:
Degree in IT Computer Science Marketing Communication
7 years of experience in Business Management IT Transformation Communication Marketing Event Management Staff Engagement Change Management
Experience in using variety of internal communication methodsintranet blogs town halls road shows etc
Adobe PackagePhotoshop Illustrator Indesign Dreamweaver Flash
Ability to manage and organize large scale events and organizational transformation
Personal impact in terms of influencing and communication skills with a passion to developgrow others
