About DINK
DINK is a new pickleball lifestyle brand. Apparel, accessories and equipment — launching across the UAE and the wider GCC. We sell through our Shopify store, pop-ups across Dubai, and branded racks inside pickleball clubs. We're a small, fast-moving, founder-led team building the pickleball brand for the region, and this is one of our first key hires.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on all-rounder to be the operational backbone of DINK. You'll keep our online store and inventory running smoothly, be our daily point of contact with our manufacturers and quality-control team in China, oversee fulfillment through our logistics partner SWFTBox, and spend real time on the ground at our pop-ups and club locations making sure stock, merchandising and sales are on point.
One day you're reconciling inventory in Shopify; the next you're setting up a display rack at a pickleball club. If you're organized, proactive, and happy switching between a laptop and the field, this is for you.
What You'll Do
E-commerce & Shopify
• Own the day-to-day management of our Shopify store — products, pricing, collections, stock levels and content updates.
• Process and monitor online orders end-to-end, making sure every order is fulfilled and delivered.
• Keep product listings, images and inventory counts accurate and up to date.
• Spot and flag issues (out-of-stocks, pricing errors, site problems) and coordinate fixes.
Inventory management
• Maintain accurate inventory across every channel. Online, pop-ups and club racks, from a single source of truth.
• Track stock levels, reorder points and incoming shipments, and alert the founders well before anything runs low.
• Reconcile physical stock against system counts regularly and investigate any discrepancies.
• Coordinate stock allocation and transfers between storage, pop-ups and club locations.
Manufacturer & quality-control liaison (China)
• Be the daily point of contact with our manufacturers and QC team in China.
• Follow up on production timelines, samples, approvals and shipments.
• Communicate quality standards clearly and make sure problems are caught before goods ship.
• Keep organized records of orders, specs, artwork and correspondence.
• (Communication is largely in English with translation support. Mandarin is a plus, not a requirement.)
Logistics & fulfillment (SWFTBox)
• Act as our main point of contact with SWFTBox for all fulfillment and last-mile delivery.
• Monitor the SWFTBox dashboard daily. tracking shipments, deliveries, returns and any exceptions.
• Resolve delivery issues quickly and keep every customer's order on track.
• Reconcile fulfillment and stock data between SWFTBox and Shopify.
Retail & field operations
• Visit our pop-ups and pickleball club retail locations across Dubai regularly (company driver provided).
• Assist with in-person sales and represent the DINK brand to customers.
• Own product placement, merchandising and shelving/rack presentation at each location.
• Restock, count and rotate inventory on site, and report on what's selling and what isn't.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with club and venue partners.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
• 1–3 years' experience in retail operations, e-commerce, inventory or a similar operations/coordination role.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify (or a similar e-commerce platform) and comfort with spreadsheets.
• Strong organization and attention to detail. You keep numbers accurate and let nothing slip.
• Good written and spoken English, and confidence communicating with suppliers and partners.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable in a small startup where priorities shift day to day.
• Happy to split your time between desk work and regular field visits across Dubai.
• Currently in the UAE or able to relocate, and eligible for a UAE employment visa.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience dealing with overseas suppliers/manufacturers, ideally in China.
• Familiarity with logistics or fulfillment platforms (SWFTBox or similar).
• Mandarin language skills.
• UAE driving license.
• A genuine interest in pickleball, sport, or lifestyle retail.

• A clear, regular communication rhythm is running with the China team.
• All retail locations are well-stocked, well-merchandised, and reported on weekly.
