Live-In Traveling Nanny for 4-Month-Old Baby
We are looking for a kind, responsible, flexible, and trustworthy live-in nanny to care for our 4-month-old baby and travel with our family between multiple countries.
This is a full-time live-in position. When we are in Dubai, the position will be based in Downtown Dubai. The nanny should be comfortable traveling with the family to places such as Canada, Georgia, Dubai, and potentially the USA and UK.
The nanny will be expected to share a room with the baby, who will sleep in a crib.
Main Responsibilities
Provide attentive daily care for one infant, currently 4 months old
Feed, burp, change, bathe, dress, and comfort the baby
Follow and help maintain feeding, nap, and bedtime routines
Keep the baby clean, safe, warm, and happy
Play with and engage the baby in age-appropriate activities
Help support the baby’s development through talking, singing, tummy time, walks, and simple play
Keep baby items, bottles, clothes, toys, crib area, and changing areas clean and organized
Assist with packing and preparing baby items for travel
Travel with the family internationally as needed
Be flexible with schedules, time zones, and family routines
Follow parents’ instructions and communicate clearly about the baby’s needs, mood, feeding, sleep, and health
Requirements
Must speak good English and be able to communicate clearly with the parents
Must be willing and able to work as a live-in nanny
Must be comfortable sharing a room with the baby
Must have no travel restrictions and be able to travel internationally with the family
Must be responsible, calm, patient, kind, and trustworthy
Must be flexible and willing to learn
Must be comfortable living and traveling in different countries
Must be organized and able to help keep the baby’s things clean and prepared
Must be respectful, discreet, and professional in a family home
Preferred, But Not Required
Passport or visa status that allows easier travel to countries such as Canada, USA, UK, UAE, or Schengen countries
If your passport requires a visa for Canada/US/UK, then having travel history to countries such as Schengen countries, the USA, Canada, UK is good so we can get a visa more easily. Since countries like Canada and the US do not allow Nanny's to work, you will have to be able to enter as a tourist.
Prior experience with infants or young children
First aid or baby care knowledge
Experience working with international families
Important Notes
No formal education or previous nanny experience is required. The most important qualities are good English, responsibility, flexibility, willingness to learn, patience, and the ability to travel with the family.
We are looking for someone who can become a reliable and trusted part of the household and provide loving, safe, attentive care for our baby. We are looking for a long term relationship. If you like us and we like you, we would love for you to assist us for the next 18 years. We have a Golden Visa in Dubai and can sponsor you eventually. In the beginning if you have your own visa that would be great so we can test. We are currently in Georgia so we would need you to fly out to Georgia (we will pay) and you will have a room in our house here. We will plan on being in Canada by July and you will travel with us, we will pay for your flights and accommodations, etc.
It would be great if you can help cook/clean, but we have a twice weekly maid in dubai now and a twice weekly maid in Georgia now that we plan on keeping.
We currently have 2 full time live in nannies, but unfortunately they have to go back to their home countries with passport issues.
