We are one of the largest mobile phone refurbishment operations in the Middle East, headquartered in Dubai and serving customers across the GCC, South Asia and Europe. Our refurbishment lines depend on a steady, cost-effective supply of parts from China and other global markets.

The Role
We are hiring an experienced Senior Buyer to own the full procure-to-pay cycle for mobile phone spare parts, including displays, batteries, housings, camera modules, flex cables, accessories, packaging and consumables. You will keep suppliers delivering on time and hold inventory at the right level: enough to protect production without tying up cash or creating obsolete stock.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end P2P cycle, from PR review, RFQ and PO creation through GRN, three-way match and payment release
Track open orders daily, expedite late shipments and escalate supply risks early
Work with Planning on MRP, reorder points, safety stock and MOQs to buy the right quantity at the right time
Reduce excess and obsolete stock by aligning purchases with model lifecycles
Negotiate prices, payment terms, warranty/RMA terms and flexible supply arrangements (consignment, VMI, call-off orders)
Manage supplier relationships in China and Asia together with our China sourcing team
Maintain accurate ERP master data and produce weekly reports on OTD, PPV, savings and inventory
Guide junior buyers and support process improvement

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field
8–10 years in purchasing or procurement, with experience in mobile phones, consumer electronics or EMS
Proven end-to-end P2P expertise and supplier on-time delivery management
Strong knowledge of MRP, safety stock, MOQs and excess/obsolete stock control
Hands-on ERP experience (SAP MM, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar)
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
Fluent English
Based in the UAE or willing to relocate

Preferred

Buyer experience at an EMS or contract manufacturer producing mobile phones or electronics
Experience sourcing components, displays or batteries from China and Asia
SAP MM key-user or ERP implementation experience
Knowledge of Incoterms, import documentation and LC/TT payments
Background in refurbishment, repair or aftermarket parts
CIPS (Level 4+), CPSM or CPIM certification
Mandarin or Hindi language skills are a plus
