Job Details
We are seeking a physically fit, safety-conscious Ramp Agent to handle the loading, unloading, and ground servicing of aircraft so that flights depart safely and on schedule. Reporting to the Ramp Supervisor or Ground Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work on the airside apron, where every task is time-critical and every safety rule exists for a reason.
The core of the role is baggage and cargo handling. The Ramp Agent loads and unloads passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft holds, carts, and containers, following the load instructions issued for each flight so that weight and balance requirements are met exactly. Items are handled carefully to avoid damage, priority and fragile items are treated as directed, and any damaged, leaking, or suspicious item is reported immediately rather than loaded. Baggage is sorted and dispatched to the correct flight or reclaim area without delay, since a missed connection or mishandled bag is the most visible failure a ground team can have.
