Source and select suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and site consumables.
Request, compare, and negotiate quotations to secure the best prices and terms.
Prepare and issue purchase orders for materials required by project sites.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
Follow up with suppliers on pending orders, delivery schedules, and logistics.
Verify material quality and compliance with project specifications before approval.
Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines.
Monitor market prices for steel, cement, aggregates, electrical items, plumbing materials, and other construction essentials.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for long‑term cooperation.
Track inventory levels and plan purchases to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, damaged materials, or incorrect quantities.
Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and timely supplier payments.
Support cost‑control initiatives and identify opportunities for savings in procurement.
