We are seeking a licensed and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to move goods efficiently and safely within the warehouse or storage facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate forklifts and related material handling equipment to support receiving, storage, order preparation, and dispatch activities.
The core of the role is material movement. The Forklift Operator loads and unloads goods from delivery vehicles, transports pallets and stock between receiving, storage, and dispatch areas, and places items into racking at height accurately and without damage to product, racking, or surrounding stock. Loads are checked for stability and weight limits before lifting, and placement is carried out with precision, since a poorly placed pallet creates both a safety hazard and a retrieval problem for the next person who needs it.
