An opportunity is available for a Logistics Officer to support day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations. The role involves coordinating shipments, monitoring deliveries, handling documentation, and communicating with relevant parties to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
Monitor delivery schedules and shipment status.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, drivers, and logistics partners.
Prepare and maintain shipping and delivery documentation.
Track shipments and provide updates when required.
Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
Handle delivery notes, invoices, purchase orders, and related documents.
Follow up on delayed or pending deliveries.
Assist in resolving logistics and transportation issues.
Prepare logistics reports and maintain proper records.
Support warehouse and supply chain activities as required.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous logistics or supply chain experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of shipment and delivery documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic to good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
UAE experience is an advantage.
Candidates with relevant experience and suitable freshers may be considered.
