Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee our day-to-day ocean, air, and land freight operations. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end shipping processes, coordinate cross-border trucking, ensure smooth customs clearance, and maintain strong communication with carriers and clients. This position is strictly open to candidates currently residing in the UAE with a valid and transferable residency visa.
Key Responsibilities:
Multimodal Shipment Management: Coordinate and monitor international and local shipments (Ocean, Air, and Land freight) from origin to final destination.
Land Freight Coordination: Arrange, book, and dispatch trucks; manage cross-border land freight shipments, specifically within the GCC region.
Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process all required shipping documents (Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Land Customs Declarations, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists).
Customs Clearance: Liaison with customs brokers, port authorities, and land border checkpoints to ensure smooth and compliant clearance.
Carrier & Vendor Relations: Negotiate freight rates and book cargo space with shipping lines, airlines, and local/international transport vendors.
Tracking & Problem Solving: Provide real-time tracking updates to clients and internal teams, proactively resolving any transit or border delays.
Requirements:
Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics (specifically handling Ocean, Air, and Land freight within the UAE).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Dubai customs procedures, Dubai Trade portal, cross-border overland shipping regulations, and Incoterms.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); strong negotiation skills.
Visa Status (Mandatory): Must hold a valid UAE residency visa that is strictly transferable, and be ready to initiate the visa transfer process immediately upon selection.
