A well-established company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Officer to join the operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services required by the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services according to company requirements
- Compare quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor order status until delivery completion
- Ensure purchased items meet quality standards and company specifications
- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and operations departments regarding procurement needs
- Track inventory levels and assist in stock management
- Maintain procurement records, invoices, and supplier documentation
- Research new suppliers and evaluate market trends for cost-effective purchasing
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Freshers with strong skills and willingness to learn may apply
