Job Details
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Coordinate daily logistics activities, including shipments, deliveries and collections.
*Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, delivery notes and other logistics records.
*Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status.
*Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, warehouses and customers.
*Assist with scheduling deliveries and arranging transportation.
*Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control.
*Verify quantities, packing and condition of goods before dispatch or receipt.
*Update logistics and inventory information in ERP systems or spreadsheets.
*Assist with customs documentation and import/export procedures, when required.
*Resolve delivery delays, missing items, and other logistics issues.
*Maintain accurate filing and documentation of logistics transactions.
*Prepare regular reports on shipments, deliveries, inventory, and transportation activities.
*Ensure logistics activities comply with company policies, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
*Support the Logistics/Operations Manager with other administrative and operational tasks.
Qualifications:
*Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
*Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or supply chain operations is preferred.
*Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
*Experience with ERP, MS Great Plain, Odoo or inventory management systems is an advantage.
*Good communication and coordination skills.
*Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
*Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Good problem-solving and multitasking skills.
*Ability to work effectively with suppliers, drivers, customers, and internal departments.
*Good command of English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages can be an advantage.
