We are seeking an experienced and decisive Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operational functions of the business and drive efficiency, quality, and cost performance across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, Director of Operations, or CEO, the successful candidate will take end-to-end accountability for operational execution, translating strategic objectives into practical, well-run daily operations.
The core of the role is operational leadership. The Operations Manager oversees the functions that keep the business running — depending on the sector, this may include warehousing, transport, production, or service delivery — ensuring processes run smoothly, targets are met, and disruptions are resolved quickly. Daily, weekly, and monthly performance is monitored against KPIs covering productivity, cost, quality, and service level, with underperformance investigated and corrected rather than simply reported.
