Job Details
We're looking for a Systems Administrator to keep our IT infrastructure stable, secure, and available. You'll manage servers, networks, and user accounts, resolve escalated technical issues, and make sure backups, patches, and access controls are always in good shape.
What you'll do
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, virtual machines, and core network services
• Administer Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and email/collaboration platforms
• Apply patches, manage endpoint security, and support audits and incident response
• Run and test backups; maintain disaster recovery procedures
• Resolve escalated Tier 2/3 tickets and take part in the on-call rotation
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Keep system documentation, diagrams, and asset records current
What you'll need
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
• Solid grasp of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) and virtualisation
• Scripting ability and experience with backup and monitoring tools
• Certifications such as MCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, or cloud credentials are a plus
