Description:

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Production Coordinator, Grade FC07. This position is within the Butchery Section of the Central Commissary Unit of EKFC2 and reports to the Executive Sous Chef.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for supervising all processes and products within the Central Commissary Unit areas as assigned.

Oversee all operations as in- charge of the projects specifically allocated for a target period.

Conceptualize, organize and supervise inventory management plans including logistics, forecasting, planning and scheduling, with respect to allocated projects. Maintain a proper stock rotation and manage on time deliveries.

Understand and monitor factors contributing to profitability and action towards achievement of financial targets

Manpower planning and scheduling for projects, organize training of staffs for new products and processes.

Roll out of new products in the shop floor and organize cascade training to all teams.

Ensure all products are prepared in accordance with specifications as per Quality Standards.

Ensure following of all the Food Safety regulations throughout the areas assigned.

Make sure that all reporting staff carries out their duties in a set time frame.

Manage production, presentation and rectification of products with reference to client expectations.

Supervise staff in implementation of work procedures and report non-conformances to Executive Sous Chef.

Ensure compliance with the Company Occupational Health & Safety Policy.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES

High School or equivalent qualification.

Demonstrated experience in a very high volume production facility, with demonstrable knife skills and creative hot kitchen portfolios.

A proven track record of productivity with essential people management skills for a high-risk operation.

Ability to work and perform under significant pressure in a 24/7 working environment, especially night shifts for most of the project-related production volumes.

A professional manner with the ability to meet targets and achieve results.

Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

Capability to anticipate customer needs, identify product performance, introduce cost-effective and profitable innovation in processes.

High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.

Ability to successfully delegate portions of assignment to reporting team for a comprehensive achievement of complete project with limited supervisory resources.

Qualities of a role model providing effective behavioural examples to motivate team members and achieve high levels of performance.
