Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fiber cable pulling, satellite TV installation, IPTV configuration, and CCTV installation. You will be responsible for conducting technical site surveys, identifying material requirements, performing high-quality installations, and troubleshooting equipment and service issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Pull and install fiber optic cables at residential and commercial sites.
Install, align, and configure satellite dishes and receivers.
Conduct technical surveys to determine equipment and material needs.
Install and configure IPTV systems and networking hardware.
Install and set up CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and remote access.
Diagnose and fix technical issues related to satellite, IPTV, CCTV, and fiber networks.
Maintain accurate documentation of all installations and service calls.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and service.
Requirements:
Proven field experience with satellite, fiber, IPTV, and CCTV installations.
Solid understanding of signal alignment, basic networking, and system setup.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, testing, and installation equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in networking, satellite, CCTV, or fiber installation.
Familiarity with popular IPTV platforms and CCTV systems
