Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electricians with strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, distribution boards, load management, cabling, and equipment installation. The candidate will be responsible for supporting our crypto mining operations, data centre infrastructure, mining farms, and client sites mostly.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise as well as the ability to supervise electrical works, troubleshoot systems, perform site assessments, and ensure safe and reliable operation of mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), DB schedules, load schedules, and electrical layouts.
- Assess existing electrical infrastructure and accurately measure, calculate, and balance electrical loads.
- Calculate required cable sizes, breakers, DB capacities, distribution requirements, and electrical loads for mining installations.
- Inspect and supervise the installation of power cables, cable trays, DBs, breakers, sockets, isolators, and electrical distribution systems.
- Plan and supervise cabling works for ASIC miners and high-load mining infrastructure.
- Install, connect, commission, and test Bitcoin miners and associated electrical systems.
- Carry out electrical testing, troubleshooting, fault finding, and preventive maintenance.
- Perform live testing and operational checks of miners while following proper electrical safety procedures.
- Supervise electricians, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors during installation and maintenance works.
- Conduct site visits and electrical assessments for mining farms, data centres, client facilities, and potential new sites.
- Identify electrical risks, capacity limitations, voltage issues, overheating, cable problems, and distribution inefficiencies.
- Assist with electrical planning for new mining farms, containerized mining systems, hydro-cooling installations, and data centre projects.
- Verify that electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and applicable UAE standards.
- Prepare basic load calculations, material requirements, site reports, and electrical recommendations.
- Coordinate with the Operations, Projects, Procurement, and Technical teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Support emergency troubleshooting and maintenance whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation of electrical installations, testing, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Required Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical distribution systems.
- Excellent understanding of DBs, MCCBs, MCBs, breakers, isolators, contactors, cable sizing, and load calculations.
- Ability to read and understand SLDs and electrical drawings.
- Practical experience with three-phase electrical systems and high-load equipment.
- Experience in electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to calculate total load, connected load, demand load, phase loading, and distribution capacity.
- Good understanding of cable routing, cable trays, termination, glands, and proper cable management.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and phase-sequence testers.
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults and identify the root cause of failures.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices.

- Driving License is mandatory and candidates who can join on immediate basis are preferable.
