Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Live Event Engraving Specialist who is fully proficient in operating the xTool F2 / F2 Ultra dual-laser engraving machine. In this role, you will be responsible for handling live, on-site personalization and engraving for luxury activations, brand pop-ups, and private events.
Key Responsibilities
Live Event Operation: Set up and operate the xTool F2 machine seamlessly in high-pressure, customer-facing event environments.
Material Handling: Accurately engrave a variety of items on the spot, including metals, leather goods, acrylics, and charms.
Arabic & English Personalization: Accurately layout, align, and engrave both English and Arabic typography and names cleanly onto items.
Quality Control: Ensure flawless alignment, precision, and high-quality finishing for every guest item.
Client Interaction: Deliver a polished, engaging, and professional experience for event attendees while personalizing their items.
Requirements
Hands-on Experience: Proven, working knowledge of the xTool F2 (or F2 Ultra) engraver and its companion software (XCS - xTool Creative Space).
Typography Skills: Familiarity with typing, reading, and correctly formatting Arabic names and letters for engraving (proper connected script/ligatures).
Event Experience: Previous background working at live events, brand activations, or retail pop-ups is strongly preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot minor software or hardware issues quickly under live-event conditions.
Professional Demeanor: Excellent communication skills, neat presentation, and a calm attitude in fast-paced settings.
Testing & Recruitment Process
Practical Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a brief hands-on test using the xTool F2 machine to demonstrate setup speed, alignment accuracy, and engraving quality (including Arabic text formatting).
Job Terms: This is an event-by-event freelance role; job descriptions, timings, and rates will be shared on an assignment-by-assignment basis upon request.
