Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Maintenance Operations Manager / Engineer to manage our maintenance division and oversee its daily operations in Dubai.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, coordinating work orders, handling client concerns, arranging materials and purchases, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed professionally, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and excellent client-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all daily maintenance activities and work orders.
Plan technicians’ schedules, routes, site visits, and job assignments.
Monitor work progress and ensure jobs are completed on time and to the required quality.
Manage maintenance technicians, supervisors, drivers, and supporting staff.
Handle client enquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
Visit clients when required, understand their concerns, provide suitable advice, and coordinate effective solutions.
Keep clients informed, manage their expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Arrange the purchase and timely delivery of required materials and spare parts.
Monitor company tools, equipment, vehicles, and technical resources.
Ensure vehicles and tools are properly assigned, maintained, and used responsibly.
Improve team coordination, productivity, discipline, and operational efficiency.
Conduct inspections, identify technical problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare job reports, quotations, material requests, and operational updates.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, building management, and clients.
Support team development, technical training, and performance improvement.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and Dubai regulations.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience managing a maintenance team in Dubai is essential.
Strong experience in daily maintenance operations and work-order management.
Good technical knowledge of AC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or Maintenance Supervisor.
Excellent team leadership and team-building skills.
Strong operations, scheduling, and resource-management abilities.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-management skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional when handling complaints or difficult situations.
Good knowledge of the Dubai maintenance and facilities-management market.
Strong organisational and reporting skills.
Good command of spoken and written English.
A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
Must currently be based in the UAE.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering.
Experience working for a maintenance, facilities-management, or building-contracting company.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
Familiarity with maintenance-management or work-order software.
