Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman to join our furniture manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, production drawings, and 3D models for furniture and custom projects. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.

Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, including 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and drafting standards.
* Ability to prepare accurate production and shop drawings.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with ArtCAM (added advantage).
* Knowledge of SolidWorks.
* Experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking industries.
* Familiarity with CNC production processes.

Responsibilities

* Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
* Prepare detailed technical and production drawings.
* Develop shop drawings for manufacturing.
* Coordinate with production and project teams.
* Revise drawings based on project requirements and site conditions.
* Ensure drawings comply with company standards and specifications.
* Support production by providing accurate technical documentation.

Experience

* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Software Skills

* AutoCAD (Required)
* ArtCAM (Preferred)
* SolidWorks (Preferred)
