We are a Dubai-based company with an established network of international partnerships. We have recently launched a new business in Kinshasa, DRC, and are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our team and help build the business from the ground up.
Our business will operate across three key segments:
-Retail and wholesale trading of solar products and electrical components
-Residential solar energy systems
-Large commercial and industrial (C&I) solar installations
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for both technical engineering and business development activities.
Engineering Responsibilities
Develop standardized system designs and product selection processes that enable retail sales staff to independently recommend suitable systems and components using a menu-driven approach.
Handle the complete technical lifecycle for commercial and industrial projects, including:
-Energy audits
-System design and engineering
-Proposal preparation
-Installation supervision
-Testing and commissioning
-Operations and maintenance (O&M) support
Sales Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with customers across all business segments.
Lead the complete sales cycle for commercial and industrial clients, from initial engagement through project completion.
Work closely with partners, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver successful projects.
Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
French language skills are desirable but not mandatory, as most commercial and industrial clients can communicate effectively in English.
Prior experience in solar energy, electrical engineering, or technical sales is an advantage but not required.
A strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow with a startup business is essential.
