### Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled **Civil Engineer** with **5–10 years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE**, preferably in **luxury villa construction, renovation, extensions, and high-end residential projects**.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing civil construction activities from planning and authority approvals through execution, inspection, handover, and completion.

### Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise construction of **luxury villas and high-end residential projects**.
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor all civil works from mobilization to project completion.
* Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
* Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, MEP teams, and clients.
* Handle and coordinate **Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority approvals, inspections, permits, NOCs, and completion procedures**.
* Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
* Coordinate authority inspections and ensure all comments and requirements are properly closed.
* Monitor structural, architectural, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, tiling, flooring, concrete, external works, and other civil activities.
* Supervise subcontractors and site teams and ensure proper manpower and productivity.
* Review drawings and identify technical issues, discrepancies, and required modifications.
* Prepare and review **BOQ, quantities, variations, material requirements, and project cost estimates**.
* Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and schedule.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and UAE/Dubai regulations.
* Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of civil and MEP works.
* Prepare progress reports and coordinate project documentation.
* Assist with snagging, rectification, testing, final inspections, and project handover.
* Ensure compliance with **HSE, quality control, and Dubai construction regulations**.

### Required Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in **Civil Engineering** from a recognized university.
* **5–10 years of professional experience**, with strong UAE/Dubai construction experience.
* Proven experience in **luxury villas, private villas, high-end residential construction, renovation, extensions, or major refurbishment projects**.
* Strong knowledge of **Dubai Municipality procedures and building permit requirements**.
* **Dubai Municipality-approved / registered Civil Engineer** is strongly preferred, with the appropriate category for the projects handled.
* Membership with the **UAE Society of Engineers** is required/preferred according to the applicable role and authority requirements.
* Strong experience dealing with **Dubai Municipality and relevant Dubai authorities/developers**.
* Good knowledge of authority submissions, inspections, NOCs, permits, and completion procedures.
* Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, specifications, and quality standards.
* Experience in **BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, variations, and project management**.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
* Strong subcontractor and site-team management skills.
* Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
* UAE Driving License is **preferred**.
* Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

### Preferred Authority Experience

Candidates with practical experience dealing with relevant Dubai authorities and entities such as:

**Dubai Municipality (DM) | Dubai Development Authority (DDA) | Trakhees | DEWA | Civil Defence | Developer NOCs | Other relevant Dubai authorities**

will be highly preferred.

### Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a **hands-on Civil Engineer**, not only a site supervisor, who can independently manage villa construction activities, coordinate with consultants and authorities, solve technical issues, control quality and costs, and take a project through to successful completion and handover.

**Only candidates with relevant Dubai/UAE villa construction experience and verifiable authority/approval experience will be considered.**
