Education

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
* Good academic background in structural engineering, construction methods, and geotechnical engineering.

Professional Experience

* Practical post-graduation experience in building construction and site supervision.
* Previous experience in multi-storey residential building projects is preferred.
* Experience in supervising structural, architectural, and finishing works.
* Ability to coordinate various disciplines and activities on site.

Technical Skills

* Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, and STAAD.Pro is preferred.
* Ability to read and review construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
* Good knowledge of building regulations, safety requirements, and Dubai Municipality requirements.
* Ability to coordinate civil, architectural, electrical, and mechanical (MEP) works, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ability to monitor project progress, quality, manpower, materials, and construction schedules.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise daily construction activities on site.
* Ensure that all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
* Coordinate with the Consultant, Contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor construction progress against the approved project schedule.
* Ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety requirements.
* Follow up on inspections, material approvals, shop drawings, RFIs, and site instructions.
* Monitor workmanship and ensure that any defective or non-compliant works are rectified.
* Attend technical and progress meetings and prepare required reports.
* Follow up on inspections, snagging, rectification works, and final project handover.
