We are a leading construction company in Dubai with a strong portfolio of high-profile projects. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic and well-connected Civil Engineer who not only has the technical credentials to oversee projects but also the commercial acumen to drive business growth.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Civil Engineer who is fully approved by Dubai Municipality and all relevant authorities to join our team. Unlike a traditional site engineer, this role requires a leader who can close deals, cultivate client relationships, and bring in new projects. You will be the bridge between our technical execution team and our business development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Technical & Regulatory Compliance:
· Oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring full compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, the Dubai Building Code, and Civil Defence requirements .
· Prepare, review, and submit structural drawings, calculations, and documents for DM and other authority approvals (e.g., DEWA, Trakhees) .
· Act as the company’s primary technical representative for all regulatory inspections and submissions. Must hold a valid DM license (e.g., G+1, G+4, or relevant category) .
· Business Development & Project Acquisition:
· Actively network, identify, and pursue new business opportunities to generate projects for the company.
· Leverage existing relationships with developers, consultants, and main contractors to close deals and secure contracts.
· Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, and tenders; present technical proposals and commercial offers to win projects .
· Maintain a strong professional network within Dubai's construction industry to ensure a consistent pipeline of work.

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) .
· Licensing: Valid and active Dubai Municipality (DM) Engineer Approval (e.g., G+1, G+4, or similar) is mandatory. Registration with the UAE Society of Engineers is a plus .
· Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the UAE construction industry .
· Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of securing projects/closing deals in the Dubai market. Must have strong connections with real estate developers, government entities, or private clients.
· Skills:
· Deep knowledge of UAE building codes, DM regulations, and authority approval processes .
· Strong business acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
· Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, etc.) and MS Office .
· Valid UAE driving license is required .
