We are hiring Civil QC Inspector, location is in Dubai.
A Civil QC Inspector in the UAE ensures that construction projects comply with approved drawings, safety regulations, and local authority standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality). This role requires overseeing earthworks, concrete placement, structural steel, and finishes, while managing Inspection Requests (RFI) and identifying non-conformances.
It is often a site-based position requiring 3–10+ years of experience in the UAE.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision: Conducting daily site inspections of civil and structural works, including piling, foundations, concrete placement, and steel erection.
Compliance Verification: Ensuring construction matches approved drawings, method statements, and specifications, as well as UAE building codes.Quality Control: Inspecting materials (soil, concrete) and performing testing (compaction, cube tests).
Reporting: Preparing daily inspection reports, photographing progress, and creating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when works fail to meet standards.
RFI Management: Reviewing and signing off on Request for Inspection (RFI) documents from contractors.
Safety Adherence: Ensuring all contractors maintain safety and quality standards, specifically for infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.Experience: 3-10+ years in UAE construction supervision, with experience in consultancy or contracting.
Local Expertise: Strong knowledge of [Dubai Municipality (DM)], depending on the sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting structural drawings and using surveying tools.
