Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with a strong Civil Engineering background and proven experience in fit-out projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs while supporting project teams with technical and commercial inputs. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Develop and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure accuracy in scope and pricing.
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and tender documents.
Analyze project specifications, materials, and labor requirements to determine cost implications.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather inputs for estimation.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations
Support the tendering process, including bid preparation and submission.

Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in estimation, BOQ preparation, and quantity surveying.
In-depth knowledge of fit-out projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in estimation, specifically in fit-out projects with minimum 2 years UAE experiance
Prior experience working in contracting or fit-out companies is preferred.
