PROJECT ENGINEER – INTERIOR FIT-OUT & MAINTENANCE

Blanc Space is looking for a hands-on Project Engineer to coordinate interior fit-out, renovation, and maintenance projects, from initial site assessment through execution and handover.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the office team to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site visits, measurements, inspections, and technical assessments.

Prepare scopes of work, BOQs, quantity take-offs, material requirements, and cost estimates.

Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations and support pricing comparisons and procurement.

Prepare or assist in preparing AutoCAD layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

Check drawings against actual site conditions and coordinate technical discrepancies before execution.

Plan daily and weekly work schedules, coordinate manpower, and monitor progress across multiple sites.

Supervise civil, basic MEP, joinery, painting, waterproofing, tiling, partition, ceiling, and finishing works.

Coordinate material deliveries and monitor site expenses, productivity, and material wastage.

Attend client meetings and provide clear site updates and progress reports.

Identify site issues and coordinate practical solutions with the office team.

Record variations and additional works, prepare supporting quantities and estimates, and obtain required approvals before execution.

Inspect work quality, manage snagging and rectification, and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.

Maintain site records, progress photographs, and handover documentation, including signed completion records.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction, or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant UAE experience, preferably in interior fit-out, renovation, and maintenance.

Ability to prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing preparation; ability to prepare or revise shop drawings and as-built drawings is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Good understanding of civil works, interior finishes, joinery, and basic MEP coordination.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong site coordination, communication, client-handling, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites across the UAE and manage multiple priorities.

A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage but is not mandatory.
