Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to customers. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service while following all traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick up and deliver products to customers according to assigned routes and schedules.
Load, unload, and inspect goods to ensure safe transportation.
Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
Handle customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
Manage cash-on-delivery transactions when required.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (preferred).
Knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.
Ability to lift and carry packages as required.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using GPS and delivery management applications.
Familiarity with electronic proof-of-delivery systems.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Working Conditions:
