Job Details

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students between designated pick-up points and the school. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the safety of children and must demonstrate excellent driving discipline, punctuality, patience, and professional conduct at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely transport students on assigned morning and afternoon routes, adhering strictly to the approved schedule and stops
• Follow all UAE traffic laws, RTA school transport regulations, and speed limits without exception
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (brakes, tyres, lights, mirrors, indicators, fuel, fluid levels, emergency exits, first aid kit, fire extinguisher) and report defects immediately
• Ensure all students are seated and wearing seat belts before moving the vehicle
• Operate the bus safely with the assistance of the bus attendant/supervisor, ensuring students board and alight only at designated stops
• Carry out a full walk-through check of the bus after every trip to confirm no child remains on board
• Maintain student discipline and a calm, safe environment on board, in coordination with the bus attendant
• Never release a student to anyone other than an authorised parent or guardian as per school policy
• Follow emergency and evacuation procedures in the event of an accident, breakdown, or medical incident, and report immediately to the Transport Supervisor
• Keep the vehicle clean, fuelled, and presentable; ensure scheduled servicing and inspections are completed
• Maintain accurate daily records: trip logs, mileage, attendance, fuel, and incident reports
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with students, parents, and school staff at all times
• Assist with school trips, events, and extracurricular transport as required
Requirements
• Valid UAE driving licence appropriate to the vehicle class (light bus or heavy bus, depending on seating capacity)
• Valid RTA School Bus Driver Permit and completion of the required school transport driver training (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
• Minimum 2–3 years' professional driving experience in the UAE, preferably in school or passenger transport
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations; Good Conduct Certificate required
• Sound knowledge of Dubai roads, routes, and traffic conditions
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or Malayalam an advantage
• Medically fit with good eyesight and hearing; must pass required medical screening
• Patient, calm, and comfortable working with children of all ages
• Punctual, well-groomed, and professional in appearance and behaviour
• Valid UAE residence visa or eligibility to be sponsored
