The Junior AutoCAD Draftsman role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This role involves preparing detailed technical and shop drawings for bespoke cases and crates using AutoCAD and related software, based on design specifications and client requirements. The Junior AutoCAD Draftsman collaborates closely with senior designers, production teams, and sales staff to translate concepts into accurate drawings that support efficient manufacturing. Daily tasks include updating and revising drawings, maintaining drawing documentation and standards, coordinating with the production floor to resolve design queries, and ensuring all drawings comply with company guidelines and quality expectations.
Qualifications
* Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and general drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience preparing shop drawings that support manufacturing processes and production requirements.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for 2D drafting; basic 3D modeling skills are an advantage.
* Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
* Strong spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow technical specifications and standards.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design and production teams in an on-site environment.
* Prior experience in manufacturing, joinery, packaging, or industrial design is a plus; entry-level candidates with solid CAD skills are encouraged to apply.
